Serbian accordionist Jovica Ivanović was born in 1987 in Zvornik, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Within the pedagogical field he accomplished his diploma of Musical Education (ME) as well as his master in art-based education (KA) at the Hanover University of Music, Drama, and Media in Germany, studying accordion. During his time at university, Ivanović earned prestigious scholarships such as the Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now Award and the Germany Scholarship.

Ivanović has performed at countless concerts and festivals like the international Bruckner Fest (Linz, Austria), the MozArt Festival (Lemberg, Ukraine), the Cello-Biennale (Amsterdam, Netherlands), the Congress Center (Hannover, Germany), the Kiev and Odessa Philharmonic (Ukraine), the Belgrade Philharmonic (Serbia) and at the Concert Hall Kolarac (Belgrade, Serbia), as well as with the NCE “Kyiv Soloists”, Inso Lviv Symphony Orchestra and the Ukrainian Chamber Orchestra led by conductor Vitaliy Protasov and the violinist Valeriy Sokolov with whom he collaborates regularly since 2016.

The collaboration presented on Ivanović’s album led also to the world premiere of Light and Shadow, a piece composed by Vladimir Genin for Ivanović and Sokolov and presented at the MozArt Festival Lviv 2018. Genin has since composed a concert for accordion and string orchestra for Ivanović. In 2019 Ivanović started his current concert series “Jovica Ivanović” – Music in connection, hosted by Sudhaus hallein.kultur, where he collaborates with numerous well-known musicians like Gary Hoffman, Jeremy Menuhin, Valeriy Sokolov and others on different stages in Hallein (Salzburg, Austria). The artist’s repertoire includes classical genres like Baroque, original compositions for accordion, new music as well as tango, jazz and traditional Balkan music. Ivanović shows his extraordinary gift and passion within the field of improvisation.

Marco Tamayo ist Professor an der Universität der Künste Berlin, (UdK) und Professor an der Universität Mozarteum Salzburg. Der gebürtige Kubaner Marco Tamayo wird von vielen als „König der Gitarre“ bezeichnet. 25 erste Plätze hat Tamayo bei den wichtigsten internationalen Wettbewerben erspielt. Er lebt zwar im beschaulichen Maria Elend im Rosental, ist jedoch das ganze Jahr über weltweit zu Konzerten unterwegs. Menschen aus der ganzen Welt kommen nach Österreich, um bei ihm zu lernen. „Es ist mein Auftrag, die Jugend für dieses wundervolle Instrument zu begeistern“, so Tamayo, der übrigens am Salzburger Mozarteum u. a. von Nikolaus Harnoncourt unterrichtet wurde. Sein Buch “Essential Principles for the Interpretation on the Classical Guitar” hat die Herangehensweise an den klassischen Gitarrenunterricht weltweit verändert.

Er begann mit drei Jahren Gitarre zu spielen, mit sechs Jahren wurde er bereits als Wunderkind gefeiert und seine erste internationale Tournee fand in Europa statt, als er zehn Jahre alt war. Im Laufe seiner Karriere gewann er viele bedeutende internationale Wettbewerbe und erhielt mehr als 20 internationale Auszeichnungen.

Derzeit spielt auf einer Gitarre des Gitarrenbauers Stephen Connor aus den Vereinigten Staaten von Amerika, ist Savarez Artist und verwendet Cantiga Premium- Alliance / Blue Saiten.

Manjana ist schwärmerisches Gewölk und federleichte Melancholie,Weltenwanderschaft und Dialekt, analoge Herzensergüsse und auch ein gutes bisschen Groove.

Kennengelernt haben sich Manfred Plessl und Jana Thomaschütz bei der Theaterproduktion „Kafka – Der Bau“, sofort war klar, dass die Chemie stimmt und neben ihrer musikalischen Zusammenarbeit hat sich eine verbindende Freundschaft entwickelt.

Als Duo gegründet, performen sie seit Anfang 2020 mit Violine, Cello, Gitarre, Ukulele, Tiny Piano und Gesang. Seit 2021 ist Sebastian Haidutschek an der Perkussion unersetzbarer Bestandteil der Formation und Vukašin Miškovic an der Gitarre.
